Green Laser

Amateur astronomers often use green laser pointers to point out stars or constellations to groups, as the beam is highly visible in the night air.

• Aviation Warnings: There are strict laws in Lebanon (and internationally) against pointing green lasers at aircraft. Pilots landing at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport have occasionally reported "laser strikes," which are dangerous as they can cause flash blindness in the cockpit.
